Acquired from her many travels at home and abroad for dealers and markets all over the United States and Europe, each piece in this collection was selected with an eye towards elegance and exceptional provenance. The collection includes items from a variety of American, European and Asian historical periods.
The collection's extensive selection of artworks from the 19th and 20th centuries offers oils, watercolors, gouaches, mixed media, ink and lithographs; artists include Carl Haefner and Carl Hugo Rudolf Jonas. Other items include tapestry fragments, gilt frame mirrors, photographs of Paris, colored butterfly prints, botanicals, crystal pieces, altar stick and other lamps, crystal chandeliers, 19th-century stoneware pots, several African pieces, console tables, books and catalogs, and more. Among the statues and sculpture are a bronze head of Zeus and a blackamoor. Sterling and silver-plated items include flatware, candlesticks, coffee & tea sets and trays.
