Turner Auctions + Appraisals is pleased to present Libraries, Art, and Ephemera on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 10:30 am PDT. Featuring over 255 lots from San Francisco Bay Area estates and SFO Museum, the diverse selection of items includes libraries and books from the 18th-20th centuries, vintage children’s books, artworks in various media, San Francisco Bay Area real estate ephemera and photographs, vintage valentines, advertising art, daguerreotypes, autographed items, European medals and medallions, international banknotes, U.S. coins and silver certificates from 1876-1923, U.S. Federal Reserve notes and bills, early computer items including Apple and Mac, 1950s movie posters and lobby cards, and much more.

Libraries and books from the 18th to the 20th centuries feature Shakespeare plays; the History of England; various works by Winston Churchill, including The Great War; and works by Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Rudyard Kipling, Herman Melville, and Ernest Hemingway. There are also a number of antique volumes in French. Among the vintage children’s books are volumes by Louisa May Alcott and an early edition of The Little Prince. Artworks media include oil, watercolor, pastel, etching, serigraph, woodblock, photography, and other prints. Among the noted artists are Ansel Adams, Childe Hassam, Louis Icart, John Lennon, Joseph Areno, and Francisco de Goya. Autographed items include photos, programs, and menus, with signatures of Joe di Maggio, Shirley Temple, and Catherine the Great; an autograph book features Elvis Presley, Judy Garland, Nikita Khruschev, royalty, and many other celebrities and public figures.
