Turner Auctions + Appraisals is pleased to present Model Trains – A Timed Auction on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 10:30 am PDT. Offering over 185 lots from several avid California collectors, this timed sale features prewar, post-war and modern model trains, sets, and accessories. Lots, many in original packaging, are primarily O gauge, plus some S and G gauge. There are also some vintage Huki and Marklin model trains deaccessioned from the SFO Museum.

The model trains include new old stock, many unused and in their original boxes. Among the O gauge trains, there is wide array -- diesel and steam locomotives, tenders, cabooses, and numerous train cars including passenger, freight, coach, observation, box, sleeper, log, diner, flat, hopper, and more. There are many Lionel lots, plus other manufacturers: MTH, K-Line, 3rd Rail, AMT, Weaver, Atlas, Marx, KMT, and American Flyer. Some lots offer accessories such as stations, bridges, tunnels, a coal loader, lighthouse, lighted towers, semaphores, and more – plus both O gauge and 3/16” scale vehicles, and a transformer.
