Turner Auctions + Appraisals is pleased to present the August Estate Sale on August 15, 2026, at 10:30 am PDT. Featuring over 250 lots from collectors and estates in diverse categories – artworks, silver, jewelry, decorative arts, dinner and table ware, furniture, coins and currency, Asian arts, paperweights, glass, militaria, Persian rugs and miniatures, and women’s clothing and accessories.
Artworks include lots, mostly from the 19th–21st centuries, in various media: oil, watercolor, pencil, aquatint, prints, etchings, lithographs, drawings, photographs, and sculpture. Noted artists include Larry Horowitz, William Wegman, Norman Rockwell, Raoul Dufy, and Kiyoshi Saito. Silver lots include flatware, tableware, cigarette cases, and decorative items – plus an extensive selection of coins and currency, such as Morgan and Peace silver dollars. Among the jewelry items – many of them gold or silver gem-set with diamond, pearl, jade, sapphire, tanzanite, coral, turquoise, and more – are rings, bracelets, earrings (a pair from Hermes), necklaces, a brooch, dress clips, and several watches. Southwest items include cuff bracelets, Navajo hat bands, Zuni jewelry, and earrings. There are also groupings of shoe and belt buckles.
Among the variety of decorative arts are mirrors, lamps (including a Pallucco ‘Fortuny’ model), andirons; clocks; tea caddies; a music box; a selection of paperweights; glass from Lalique and Murano; and items from Meissen, Sevres, Royal Vienna, Capo di Monte, Hummel, and KPM. Furniture pieces include chests, a secretary, chairs, several types of tables, a bench. From Asia are chests and other furniture, Japanese prints, screens, and panels; Chinese decorative lines including a cloisonné opium set; blue and white porcelains; vases, bowls, and more. There is also a selection of Sigma Faenza Carnation dining and serving ware, plus crystal stemware. Turkish and Persian rugs of various designs and size, plus two Persian miniatures, also go up for bid.
Clothing items include contemporary pieces like Chanel purses, some scarves, Japanese silk obi and runners, and vintage pieces like headbands and a shawl. Rounding out this diverse sale are two rifles, conga drums, and Afghan Kuchi belts and jewelry, a Fornasetti wastebasket, and WWII-era bicorn hat naval dress set in case.
